The property

Our establishment, "La Vecchia Torre," is a tower house located in a small, charming square at the foot of Bosa's historic center. The building dates back to the mid-18th century and underwent significant renovation in the 2000s, preserving its identity and historical allure. From the moment you enter, you will be greeted by the stunning barrel-vaulted ceilings with exposed stone in some rooms, while others feature beautiful wooden ceilings.

The windows of your accommodation provide captivating views of an enchanting square or a characteristic street in the historic center, allowing you to immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the village.

You will be welcomed by Valentina, a tour and environmental guide from the Sardinia region. With her passion for this land, she will share valuable insights about Bosa and the rest of the island. Valentina will point out the lesser-known yet authentic and special attractions of Sardinia.

From our Vecchia Torre, the city center is just a two-minute walk away. You can choose from various paths: stroll along Via Carmine, admiring the wineries that produce the famous Malvasia di Bosa and watching the women craft the prized Filet, or take a walk down Corso Vittorio Emanuele, known locally as Sa Piatta, the city's living room, framed by historic buildings leading you to the Cathedral and various amenities such as bars, restaurants, museums, and shops.

Another option is to follow the course of the Temo River, crossing the beautiful red trachyte bridge, regarded as one of the most beautiful in Italy, while observing the fishermen at work. Once you cross "Su Ponte Ezzu," you can visit the old Tanneries, now a national monument, and relax in the riverside restaurants serving traditional cuisine.

To explore Bosa's historic center, known as "Sa Costa," you can venture up the stone staircase just ten meters from our tower, leading to the foot of the Malaspina Castle, or lose yourself in the enchanting medieval alleys.

Bosa is a city to be experienced, and no description can fully capture its beauty and hospitality. We look forward to welcoming you to discover this special place!
