Domus Aurea

We are a family made up of Alberto, Patrizia, Carlotta, Giacomo, Benedetta, and Tommaso, along with Spotty, our beloved dog who is now at rest. Since our family is large, you will always find someone at home ready to greet you at any time of the day.

After carefully renovating our old family home, we decided to dedicate a part of it to travelers, explorers, and tourists who wish to stay in our beautiful Saluzzo. We designed our Bed and Breakfast with the same love we have for our home, delighted to make every guest feel like part of our family.

We wrote these words back in 2009 when we embarked on this journey. Since then, some things have changed: Carlotta and Giacomo got married; Carlotta stayed in Saluzzo while Giacomo followed love to distant lands. Benedetta is studying and working in Genoa, Tommaso is in Turin, and Spotty has passed away.

Today we are just two of us, but our joy in welcoming guests remains unchanged and has even grown. We have also installed an access code for the entrance, allowing guests to arrive even when we are not present.

Saluzzo is a peaceful yet vibrant town with an intact historic center waiting to be discovered. I love walking up the hill to the Castle of Manta, a little gem that retains a charm of bygone days and features stunning paintings. We are 30 minutes from Monviso and about an hour from the sea, with the Langhe just 30 minutes away, making our establishment an excellent starting point for exploring this wonderful area.
