The property
This charming townhouse, located in the heart of the historic center, has recently been renovated and provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, featuring air conditioning and independent access directly from the street. The house is accessible by car, which you can conveniently park in the nearby free public parking area. The townhouse is spread over two levels: on the ground floor, you'll find a living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, refrigerator, microwave, sink, television, and a sofa bed for two people. On the first floor, there is a modern bathroom with a toilet equipped with an integrated bidet, shower, and sink, as well as a spacious master bedroom with a balcony.
The space has been meticulously designed by my wife, an architect, who personally oversaw the renovation. She enhanced the home's distinctive features, such as exposed brickwork, the small oven, and ceramic tiles, creating an environment that blends tradition and comfort.
The entire house will be at your complete disposal. To enter, you will find a keypad to the left of the front door. Once you arrive, you can contact me to receive the access code, which will be valid for the duration of your stay. If you plan to arrive after 10 PM, I recommend requesting the code in advance so you can check in independently starting from 3 PM.
Before your arrival, you will receive a message with a guide suggesting places to visit and the best places to eat in Calitri and the surrounding area. A printed copy will also be available in the house. The location will allow you to comfortably explore the entire historic center on foot, including the picturesque area of the Borgo del Castello. Nearby, you'll also find a bakery, a supermarket, and two renowned restaurants: La Gatta Cenerentola and La Locanda dell’Arco.
The free public parking is located at Via Francesco De Sanctis 200, but please note that on Thursday mornings, the street is occupied by the market. To avoid any inconvenience, I recommend parking on Wednesday evening at Via Alfonso de Carlo 15 or Via Giuseppe Tozzoli.
